Pakistan–Oman Business & Trade
Pakistan and Oman have close cultural, historical, and economic affinities underpinned by their geographical adjacency and commonalities of interests. Oman is among Pakistan‘s most important partners in the Gulf region, as bilateral trade approaches $1 billion a year. Pakistan exports textiles, rice, fruits, and vegetables to Oman and imports petroleum, chemicals, and fertilizers. Thousands of Pakistani laborers make their contributions to the economy of Oman, and both countries are making efforts to increase cooperation in shipping, energy, and logistics under several trade agreements and business forums.
