Pakistan and Thailand maintain strong and steadily growing business and trade relations, marked by mutual interest in expanding economic cooperation. Pakistan primarily exports textiles, seafood, leather goods, and surgical instruments to Thailand, while importing automobiles, electrical appliances, and chemicals. Both countries are actively negotiating a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) to enhance bilateral trade and investment opportunities. With frequent high-level exchanges and participation in trade exhibitions, the partnership continues to strengthen, offering promising prospects for deeper economic collaboration in the future.

The Thai-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce
The Thai-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce (TPCC) was established to strengthen and promote trade and economic relations between Thailand and Pakistan. Formed under the Chamber of Commerce Act of 1960, it operates as a non-political, non-profit organization dedicated to serving the business communities of both nations.
TPCC’s foundation is rooted in the longstanding diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries, with a significant milestone being the visit of Thailand’s King Rama IX to Pakistan in March 1962, which paved the way for deeper bilateral cooperation.
The Chamber’s mission is to serve as a central platform for business networking, advocate for its members’ interests, and facilitate connections with key government and business leaders in both Thailand and Pakistan. TPCC actively promotes trade and investment, offering a structured forum for the private sector to engage in economic and commercial dialogue.
Moreover, TPCC is affiliated with the Thai Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce (JFCCT) and the Board of Trade of Thailand (BOT), aligning its efforts with broader national and regional trade initiatives.
