Pak Ethiopia Business & Trade
Ethiopia has been strengthening its economic and business relations with Pakistan in recent years under the auspices of Pakistan’s “Look Africa and Engage Africa” program. In 2024, Pakistan exported over $891,000 to Ethiopia and bought less than $70.6 million, primarily in spices, coffee, oilseeds, and pulses. Surgical instruments, leather goods, textiles, and pharmaceuticals are among Pakistan’s biggest exports to Ethiopia. To promote economic cooperation and provide Pakistani exporters access to Ethiopia’s growing market to further enhance bilateral trade, the two countries have organized events such as the Pakistan Single Country Exhibition in Addis Ababa, scheduled for May 2025.
