The economic relationship between Pakistan and Turkey stands at an elevated position, with bilateral trade hitting an all-time high of $1.4 billion in 2024—a nearly 30 percent increase compared to the previous year. Pakistan’s exports to Pakistan (around $241.8 million) include textiles, surgical instruments, and agriculture, while Turkey’s exports to Pakistan include machinery, chemicals, and vehicles. Both economies plan to increase trade volume to $5 billion and are considering increasingly broadening their Preferential Trade Agreement toward a Free Trade Agreement. Both countries are also collaborating on energy, infrastructure, and defense, showing their commitment to deepening economic ties.
